What is the Postgraduate Society?

We're dedicated specifically to enriching your postgraduate experience at the University of Exeter! Over the years we've seen the society grow and grow. Whether you're studying for your Masters/PhD/Bachelors, everyone is welcome! We're here just for you, and we will make sure that your time here is memorable and engaging! We're here to create a fun, social and inclusive atmosphere where you can make friendships that last. We know that 1 year in Exeter can go by very fast, hence why we've made sure that our events enable you to find out more about Exeter and the South West as well! 

What sort of events do we host?

Think day trips, themed pub nights, CV and LinkedIn sessions, salsa classes, board games nights, fun socials out on the town and around the area, walks, and lots of other events that are intended to give postgrads a chance to have some exceptional times. We've seen a lot of bonding among our members in our events, and we can't wait for you all to join us! 

Our Aims and Objectives:

1. To hold a variety of events and reflect the range of interests of the postgraduate community. 
2. To create a supportive network of postgraduate students. 
3. To promote and celebrate diversity, equality, and inclusion within the postgraduate student community. 
4. To become a global and inclusive hub for the wider student body.
