We aspire to be an extension of Saudi Arabia here in Exeter, creating a welcoming space where students can feel settled and at home. We're here to offer advice and support ,academic or otherwise, and to help make the transition to life in the UK smoother, more enjoyable, and full of new experiences.

Aims:

• Find a place for Saudis or people of similar backgrounds to connect and collaborate. 
• Reflect Saudi Arabia’s interesting and unique heritage and culture. 
• Show pride in our Saudi identity and give voice to our community.

Objectives:

• Organize academic and cultural events that promote Saudi heritage and values within the university's community.
• Support Saudi students by offering guidance, social inclusion, and a sense of belonging.
• Build partnerships with other societies to foster cross-cultural understanding and collaboration.
• Represent the Saudi community positively and strengthen its engagement with the wider University of Exeter network.

We believe that now, more than ever, people from all backgrounds and cultures should connect openly and meaningfully while staying true to their own identities. Through our events and public initiatives, we bring the Saudi community together to celebrate our shared values. By promoting our traditions, we help students at the University of Exeter and beyond to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of our culture.

We plan to organize a range of activities that support Saudi students and engage with the wider University of Exeter community.

• Cultural events: Celebrations of the Saudi National Day, the Founding Day, and the Saudi Coffee Day, along with traditional gatherings and exhibitions showcasing Saudi heritage and arts.
• Academic activities: Workshops and seminars designed to develop research skills, support undergraduate and postgraduate students, and promote knowledge exchange.
• Social activities: Welcome events for new students and collaborations with other societies to encourage intercultural understanding.

Our wish is to create a supportive and inspiring environment for Saudis and friends of Saudi Arabia at the University of Exeter.
