About Us

Our political system, which enables and drives the genocide in Gaza and climate crisis, is broken. This is completely unacceptable, and the youth of today have had enough. We know that a better world is not only possible, but essential to our collective survival, and we demand proportionate action.

Youth Demand is a non-violent civil resistance group demanding that the UK government :

1. Enacts a two-way arms embargo on Israel

2. Stops issuing new oil and gas licences, and revokes those approved since 2021, including Rosebank.

Our society hosts regular socials including soup nights, zine making, and pub trips, as well as talks on intersectional solidarity, and workshops on what it means to be ‘non-violent’, and our rights as protestors. We hold space for people to honestly share their feelings and experiences about living in a world in crisis, and provide a community and pathway to create our own hope through action.

We are the Exeter branch of a nationwide movement, building an empowered and supported community of resistance.

With love, rage, and solidarity,

Youth Demand Exeter
