The British Sign Language Society (or BSL Society for short!) at Exeter University was formed to create opportunities for students to learn and celebrate BSL and to improve Deaf awareness on campus through classes and socials. We also want to empower current Deaf and hard-of-hearing students who might feel isolated due to communication and social barriers. We run BSL classes and social events regularly to support members in learning and practising BSL. It doesn't matter if you don't know any BSL or if you have already attended classes; all are welcome!
