The Olympic Games Society, is a vibrant student-led organization that celebrates the spirit of the Olympics. Through various events and activities, the society aims to promote sportsmanship, cultural exchange, and the values embodied by the Olympic Games. Members will have the opportunity to engage in activities around different aspects of the Olympics, participate in friendly competitions, and foster a sense of community among sports enthusiasts and those interested in global cultures by representing different countries from around the world. 

Whether you're an athlete or simply passionate about the Olympics, this society offers you a platform to connect with like-minded individuals and share the excitement of this international event. 

Aims: 

• Promote sportsmanship, fair play, and the spirit of competition among students.
• Foster a sense of community and camaraderie through sports and physical activities.
• Organize events and tournaments that celebrates the values of the Olympic Games.
• Provide opportunities for students to engage in various Olympic-style sports and recreational activities.
• Encourage an active and healthy lifestyle by promoting physical fitness and regular exercise.
• Collaborate with other student societies to host joint events that blend sports and international culture. 
• Support and celebrate the achievements of student athletes within the university community (End of the Year Ball) 

Objectives: 

• Organize regular sports tournaments and friendly matches inspired by Olympic disciplines.
• Plan outreach programs to engage the wider community in sports and wellness activities.
• Create a website and/or social media presence to share updates, resources, and event information.
• Organize fundraising events to support underprivileged youth in pursuing sports and education.
• Organize a special "Olympic Games Week" at the end of the year, linked to the upcoming Paris2024 Olympic Games.
