Welcome to the MATLAB & Simulink Society at the University of Exeter!

Our society is dedicated to empowering students across disciplines to develop valuable skills in MATLAB and Simulink for data analysis, modelling, simulation, and visualisation. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced user, we are here to help you unlock the full potential of these powerful tools.

Our President (Ellis) is the MATLAB Ambassador for our university. So essentially we are sponsored by MathWorks (MATLAB's Parent Company) enabling us to have free membership and events, merchandise to give-away and access to official resources!

Why Join Us?

• Free Memberships:  our memberships are completely free due to our MathWorks sponsorship (see above) so that everyone can have the opportunity to grow academically and professionally without barriers.
• Learn Officially: Our learning workshops provide official certificates from MathWorks, These certificates are perfect for  your CV or LinkedIn profile.
• Fun Socials: On top of our academic events we have big plans for fun socials to unwind from Uni life, hang out with likeminded people and try new things.
