About Us

We are a Christ-centred, biblically-based society that encourages open, honest and edifying discussion about biblical topics and passages that are applicable to everyday lives of Christians. We believe the Christian religion as infallibly revealed in scripture and accurately summarised by the Nicene Creed.

Our aim is to discuss topics and questions that will help mature our faith in Christ and build strong foundations in our relationships with Jesus. These topics range from how to study scripture effectively to biblical views on moral issues to Christian relationships to roles within the Church and a whole lot more! We are also keen to listen to feedback as to what members think would be beneficial to talk about.

Our main meeting will consist of a short talk about a certain topic or passage of scripture, after which everyone will get a chance to discuss the topic and seek answers to questions that are stumbling blocks to us (keep an eye on our Instagram for more info).

We also want to do socials throughout the year to build our community and get to know one another while having a great time together.

This society is aimed at Christians who want to mature their personal faith and seek scriptural answers to questions that may be holding them back. Everyone will be at a different stage in their walk with the Lord so sharing our thoughts, questions and encouragements with one another is a great way to help bring each other deeper into the faith and equip us to walk more closely to God (through the power of God alone).

We can't wait to meet you and share in seeking more of our Lord Jesus Christ together!

We meet on campus on Wednesday evenings and our meetings are open to non-members (but membership is encouraged).

Society’s aims and objectives:

- Discuss biblical topics that are applicable to everyday life of believers and study scripture with the aim of strengthening their faith and discovering truth in accordance with the Bible. (Hebrews 10:24-25) (2 Timothy 4:2) (1 John 3:18)

- Form a strong community of believers that edify and encourage one another in our walk with the Lord, as well as socialise and have fun together. (Ephesians 4:25) (1 Thessalonians 5:11) (Hebrews 3:13)

- Glorify God and aim to be like Jesus in all that we do. (Matthew 5:16) (Romans 15:5-6) (1 Corinthians 10:31)
