Add to BasketThe University of Exeter Anatomy Society is open to all students who are interested in anatomy and related fields. We aim to provide medical students with opportunities to enhance their human anatomical knowledge.
Objectives:
1. Hold regular end-of-block teaching sessions based on the year 1 medical curriculum to supplement basic anatomy knowledge. Sessions will be led by student-tutor volunteers approved by the society.
2. Hold anatomy masterclass sessions designed by senior lecturers to allow students to venture into deeper and more niche areas of specialist anatomy.
3. Provide additional animal dissection opportunities for students. Opportunities are limited, and places will be decided via an internal MCQ anatomy exam within the society.
4. Specifically provide anatomy support for students participating in national competitions such as the National Undergraduate Neuroanatomy Competition (NUNC) and the Duke Elder exam of Ophthalmology.
5. Share valuable resources on social media platforms and newsletters for students interested in learning more about anatomy. Regular anatomy MCQs will be posted to solidify anatomy knowledge.
