Orthodox Christian Society

Society Registrations submitted on Nov 15, 2022

Society Description

Many similar religious and faith societies exist, such as the Catholic society, Evangelical Society, etc. However, there is not yet a society for the Orthodox Christian denomination. Many university students are from Orthodox Christian backgrounds (Greeks, Romanians, Bulgarians, Russians, Ukrainian, etc.). However, they are bounded mainly to their ethical societies. We aim to provide interethnic communication between these traditional Orthodox Christian ethnic groups and provide a robust, friendly, love and mutual understanding bond through the common faith. Also, many students from other Christian denominations, religions, and academic spheres are interested in Orthodox Christianity, late antique Christianity, and the Patristics; our society will also provide an educational and social platform for interfaith and interdisciplinary communication. We are not aiming to spread or convert any person to Orthodox Christianity; our aim is always from an equal and mutual understanding point of view.
