The committee consists of people who all have experience with different chronic or physical conditions. As this is a huge challenge for us as individuals, we are all hoping to help and create a safe and welcoming community for those who might be struggling in this area too. As committee members, we have discussed that these types of conditions can be very isolating and have found comfort in talking about the challenges we’ve faced. This is also something that can greatly affect one's education and overall University experience. 

The aim would be that the society starts in September 2024, so we could gather the correct resources beforehand, raise some awareness of the group and complete some training so committee members are able to facilitate sessions.
