- We want to create somewhere that people considering taking an industrial placement can chat to people already on placement or people who have finished their placement about their experiences.

- We want to allow people applying for their placement to discuss application opportunities with peers

- We want to create a network of Exeter WIE students for on their placement in each major UK city so that they can stay connected with local students 

- The society provides useful links and connections to boost the students confidence and build their CV, LinkedIn, etc.

- Fourth years may also benefit form the society by offering their insights and guidance to society members.
