We are creating the Georgian Society because:

There are around 20 Georgian students at Exeter who mostly don’t know each other – we want to bring them together and create a home away from home.

Many people have never heard of Georgia (the country), and we want to raise awareness about our history, culture, and European identity.

Georgian food and wine are legendary, and we want to share our 8,000-year-old winemaking traditions and delicious cuisine with everyone at Exeter!

Moving to a new country is hard, especially when English isn’t your first language. We want to support Georgian students and provide a place where they can find friends, advice, and community.

We want everyone at Exeter to experience the warmth of Georgian culture through food, music, and celebrations!
