Society Description
We want to create a group where students can meet and socialise with other students who share a common interest in yachting. This means providing a forum and safe-space for students to meet and get involved in activities. Uni Yacht Club aims to bring people together on a regular basis through social events, dinners, coffee mornings and drop-ins.
Our aims and objectives.
- Hold social events where students can come together and share their appreciation for yachting
- Invite unique and interesting guest speakers
- Host social trips abroad to relevant locations of interest
- Creating a community that students feel comfortable and included in whilst sharing their appreciation for yachting
- Safe trips to local marinas including fun activities for students to bond over
