Why start the society? 

- The University of Exeter prides itself on fostering creativity, innovation, and interdisciplinary learning. However, we believe that the guild is currently missing representation when it comes to design. 

- There is currently no student society dedicated to the intersection of Interior Design, Fashion, Sculpting, Journalism, Art History, or Architecture, nor are there any individual societies. 

- These fields are deeply intertwined and a society that bridges the gap would provide a vital platform for students to express, explore, collaborate and learn outside formal academic studies/fields.
