Society Description
The committee feels that conservation of the natural world is one of the most pressing issues facing contemporary and future society. While often conflated with strict 'climate change', the loss of global biodiversity and ecosystems is a critical issue in and of itself. Therefore, the committee of the Exeter Conservation Society have been inspired to establish a society dedicated to the natural world, in order to discuss conservation issues with an engaged audience, as well as to provide the opportunity to visit conservation sites across Devon.
