Society Description
We want to start this society to have a hub for Kurdish students to come together and find other members of the scattered diaspora at Exeter, and build community.
Creating this society will enable:
- building a community of Kurdish students on campus
- create a folk dance group
- create a music group
- raise awareness about Kurdish issues on campus
- connect Kurdish students with the Center for Kurdish Studies at the Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies
- host cultural holidays and events
