I am passionate about the yachting industry and have worked in it for two years. I understand the challenges students face when trying to gain professional experience and explore the world at the same time. This is why I am starting Uni Crew, a society that aims to provide students with the knowledge, resources, and opportunities to secure summer positions in the yachting industry.

The society's aims and objectives include:

Connecting students with potential employers and providing them with opportunities to secure summer positions in the industry

Hosting talks and events every two weeks that cover a range of topics, from how to create a standout CV to information about relevant courses and strategies for securing a job quicker

Offering CV classes to help members develop the skills they need to create a professional and effective CV

Creating networking opportunities for members to build industry connections and gain valuable contacts

Providing members with the chance to earn a substantial income while traveling the world and having an adventure in the yachting industry
