Society Description
The Exeter Radiology Society would give medical students earlier and more meaningful exposure to a specialty that is often underrepresented in the undergraduate curriculum. By creating a dedicated space for teaching, workshops, and mentorship, the society supports students who are considering radiology as a career and helps them build the foundational knowledge and skills - such as imaging-based anatomy and basic image interpretation - needed for future training. It also connects students with radiology trainees and consultants, offering guidance on career pathways and portfolio development for those aiming to pursue radiology.
Aims and Objectives:
- Deliver engaging radiology teaching through both online and in-person sessions
- Motivate and support students who are exploring radiology as a potential career path
- Provide career guidance and mentorship from radiology trainees and consultants
- Create opportunities for students to actively demonstrate and develop their interest in radiology
- Offer high-quality learning resources, including MCQs, to assess and strengthen radiologic knowledge
